使用寿命 在额定风量使用条件下，可以正常使用1~2个月，即需更换过滤棉；或当过滤棉的阻力达到200Pa以上时，必须更换过滤棉；如过滤棉是可清洗的，则更换下的滤料，可以用清水或含有中性洗涤剂的溶液进行冲洗、压缩空气吹干或凉干，然后换上；较多允许清洗二次，即必须更换新的过滤棉，且每清洗一次，过滤效率会降低15%；如使用环境中含尘浓度较大，则此使用寿命周期还将减少。
